The margaritas are bigger at Taco Bill's
ok so this is really silly but Eve wanted a dumb picture of me up here, she reckons that there are always plenty of dumb ones of her but none of me (don't know what she is talking about) - no question I look silly here though.
speaking of silly looking people - who is that in the hat?

By Scots

Ok so I went and did it - bought the Nikon D70 - this is one of my first pix (some work to go) the Scots Dave Durbin and Mac Walker visting my office and sizing each other up.

In sympathy for Rob

If you have not yet looked at Rob Cooper's website you have to read about his recent trip home - disaster!

smashed up toe

I publish the photo entirely for the sympathy vote - please note the early bruising, amazingly I didn't break the bone, just split the toe in two (including the nail) ummm yum.

I am not sure this is art - or even that it is good but I decided that being undecided I would publish it..

Team Xmas Party

The rain came down and there was thunder and lightning and just when we thought Christmas was ruined..... out came the sun and we had a lovely afternoon in the park.

World Beard Champions

Thanks this week goes to 'The Age Green Guide' for introducing me to the World Beard Championship website - a place that shows just how far you can go wrong with a bit of over grooming.

Nobody Home
Sometimes you stumble across something so clever it is worth just drawing attention to its meaningless brilliance - this site is one of those places.

Dungeon Siege

dudgen seez my boys call it - and that is an interesting interpretation of the game that has grabbed hold of the male side of my household. Push aside the xbox we are back to a pc game that imerses you for hours (I have over played for over 20hours and still only halfway through discovering the world).
Adictive would be an understatement - maybe I am just a sucker for RPG's (roll playing games) though actually I tend to prefer the strategy games - my first great experiences with technology being simcity on an apple mac.
you can try the demo [click here]

Its a new home
So what do you think about the home page - its a combination of the ramblings (still available) and the next generation of stuff and nonsense (also still avail) its all built using moveable type.
anyway keen to have some feedback - all the pictures can still be found through the links on the right hand side.

Gadget Search
Last couple of trips to the US I have found it hard to get something exciting and different in the gadget department...
I have previously been thinking of a soundbug but you would be amazed at how hard it is to get one - i have searched numerous stores (fry's; compusa; best buy etc..) most people have never heard of it - you can buy it online but I would like to have a listen and a play first.
what do you think...?
