Jazz Head

The funky sounds of melbourne's underground jazz scene. This is the label put together by Joe Camilleri to record his favourite friends including the feeling groovies and dale barlow - lots of good sound bites to listen b4 you buy!

explorer 16

Last Sunday I went along to the Explorer Association day (Lillydale Lake) the Explorer 16 is a Botterill made boat that they stopped making a decade or two ago.
Rumour has it they made less than 100 (my sail number is 46 in case you are interested!) and the owners are all mildly fanatical - glad to count myself among them!
(this good looking boat is what mine could look like with a LOT of work!)

Famous Tree Cow

What is it about Australian Tree Cows getting all the fun times - this one found hanging out next to the Telstra Dome (a great place for Rugby) Where NZ walloped the Italians (70:7) and Wales beat Canada (41:10)

TV Tonic

the broadband site of the day is TV Tonic which provides a TV like experience on your broadband pc - reviving a model that started with the "pointcast" product in 1996 where content is cached while you are doing something else and you have a rich "streaming" experience when you look at any of the channels that you have subscribed to.

Must have MP3
So this may be the best MP3 player around (apart from an iPOD) plug directly into your USB port, it plays FM, it has up to 512mb in built in memory and records voice inputs as well.
You can even use it as a USB portable drive - love the screen!
I think this is a must have....
