A visit to see the dame
we went and had lovely afternoon / evening picnic at Cruden Farm (just us and about 5,000 other people) it was a fantastic event beautifully timed with Dame Elisabeth Murdoch's 99th birthday. The farm was bought for Elisabeth by her husband Keith as a wedding present (she was 19) she has cared for and developed the garden ever since.

The house is finally coming together
there is a faint chance that today we will be plumbed... that means the stove and sink should be working and that is a massive step... very very exciting!
